Symposium: “Democracy as a Commitment”
Overall organization of the symposium, development and design of the stage and setup, management of all processes in advance and on-site, as well as full coordination of all involved trades, service providers, and security authorities.
On the occasion of the Federal President’s 70th birthday, the Körber-Stiftung and the Office of the Federal President host a symposium at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. Under the guiding theme “Democracy as a Commitment,” the focus is not merely on a personal milestone, but on a political stance: democracy as an ongoing responsibility. Jazz music and artistic contributions frame the program, creating a distinctive atmosphere.
The keynote speech is delivered by Jens Stoltenberg, Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Norway and former NATO Secretary General. This is followed by a high-level international panel discussion addressing key questions about the future of democratic societies. An evening reception with food and drinks concludes the event.
The symposium combines protocol precision, the highest security standards, and intellectual depth – creating a setting for dialogue at the highest international level.
